Kay Rayner
Journey of a Story is Kay's tribute to her father George. Kay began creatively in earnest in 2008 with the publication of the first of her children's books, The Pipsies Volume 1. Volume 2 followed in early 2009. Kay has taken on the role of executive producer, overseeing all elements of production as well as being the principal driver and organiser through all fundraising efforts
Chantal Rayner-Burt
Graduating from Auckland University with honours in Film & Television, Chantal has a passion for film and has taken on the role of writer/director for several projects.
Chantal wrote and directed her first feature in 2006, followed by two shorts scripts in 2008 and 2009. Journey of a story is her second feature script.
Jonathon Rayner-Burt
Jonathon is something of a jack of all trades on the creative front. Jonathon is most often in the role of producer, however has had a brief stint at directing. His design and traditional illustration background allows him to apply himself to many aspects of film production, from storyboarding to art department duties.
Journey of a Story is Jonathon's second foray into directing after One too many zeros, a comedy short shot in 2009.

Earthwire Productions company director Edward Rayner offers support and location and costume scouting.
Dimi Nakov
Dimi is Director of Photography for Journey of a Story. With several years experience across a number of television shows, commercials and shorts, Dimi is working hard to give the film a flavour of cinematography that suits Journey's tone and colour.

Sean Hurst
Production designer
Sean bought his extensive skills as a designer and fabricator to the table, coordinating many of the styles seen in Journey of a Story.
Celeste Strewe
HOD Make-up
Celeste is building an extensive resume of work in Auckland and elsewhere doing excellent make-up work, recreating a very wide range of looks across different decades and locations.
Cari Batenburg
HOD Hair
Cari and her dedicates team provided a fabulous range of authentic period hair styles for the film under quite a variety of challenging conditions.
Gary Daverne ONZM
Gary was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (O.N.Z.M.) in the 1996 Queen's Birthday Honours in recognition of his services to music.
Gary's music on the album Youth of Auckland, performed by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, forms the basis of the soundtrack of the film.
